We crossed into my home land at the Idaho border. Pappa bribed the guard so we were thru quickly.



Idaho is pretty



Lots of big hills and steep passes.



We stayed at Farragut State Park.
They have 4 disk golf courses, including one for golfers my size.



Northern Idaho has a lot of cute towns with local food and brew. This is Bonners Ferry.




We found our first Sonic in 6 months I thought it couldn't get better. But guess what happened next...

We had soo much fun.




We stayed at Ponderosa State Park for two nights.




It was the break I needed, although my Pappa acts weird with uncle Don.





We had to say goodbye to Jackson and Aspen. I love my cousins and Aunt Sarah and Uncle Don. Hope we see them again soon.

Last days in Canada

My first trip to the Rocky Mountains.



We drove thru Jasper, Banff and Kootenay National Parks.



We took this short hike in Jasper.
I was a little grumpy.







Many mountain passes.



Most of them were snowy.



These are BIG mountains!

This post is a few days late. I apologize.

It's been one week and this family on the road has only showered once.




Pappa said this beach called for tequila and paddle boarding.

Woke with snot and sneezing. Mommy fixed me right up.




Back to rock throwing and chocolate face painting,







Bears... Lots of bears




Stayed in Smithers BC. Nice place! Friendly people and mommy and Pappa took showers finally.




The meat store! A random stop off a dirt road in Vanderhoof. The cows outside in the pen looked concerned...




Back to mountain views!




Cute little towns

We slept in the parking lot of a casino. Mommy asked if we could use the pool. The lady said no, so I flashed her a smile and...








Needless to say we had a great night!

Yukon Territory and the Cassiar Highway

We had fun walking around town we got coffee and visited the Whitehorse public library, I had lots of fun playing with the other kids there




After a day off we headed south




We took a short hike in Rancheria




To a very pretty waterfall




Our house seems to be holding up well the potholes haven't done too much damage




Pappa didn't like mommys navigational skills so I took over the job




I was there




Pulling into a spot for the night. Boya Lake, it was really clear and blue.




I chased a chicken into the bushes.




Danced in the sun.




Ran and ran and ran




Pulled my wagon around.




There was even a playground.




Mamma and Pappa paddled, the lake was so pretty and clear
