Leaving Alaska... Temporarily

If you look closely at the upper left of this picture you will see Sandhill Crane(Grus Canadensis), on their way south. We followed them here from Texas so I guess if they are leaving we should too.

Day one of the journey and I have already seen some of the most beautiful views on this planet.

Mid September seems to be a great time to drive from Alaska to... Wherever were going.

To all my peeps in the conspiracy world...

First day was an easy one. Had lunch in Palmer with Umma and Uppa then just a half day of travel.

Looks different than Seward. Mt Sanford is really big, it has a glaciated conical top and is a very old shield volcano!

Nabesna road, don't pass it up if your ever in the area. We hit it up on day two.

Only made 20 miles "progress" on day two but I guess that depends on your definition of progress.

Woke to snow!

Thank you Alaska for the great send off. Canada here I come.

Location:Wrangel Saint Elias national park
